May 2,3,4 - Cass WVa: 'CALS at Cass Weekend'. Friday diesel between Cheat Bridge, Spruce and Big Cut including steam runby. Saturday from Cass including Shay 'race'. Sunday Shay run from Cass to Old Spruce and Bald Knob.

May 3 and 4 - Alamosa CO - Excursion to La Veta. Overnight at La Veta. Now scheduled for #18 ALCO 2-8-0 (ex-Grand Canyon) which TUT now say is now being re-numbered to DRGW 1018 which was a C-41 class ...It is also being lettered RIO GRANDE on the tender and DRGW under the windows. Photo freight with many runbys and night photo shoot at La Veta.

May 15 - Cass WVa: now also planned Cass to Elkins, on Thursday May 15. Leave Cass at 10am to Spruce behind one of Cass' geared locomotives. We will meet our vintage diesel train at Spruce and have several photo opportunities with both steam and diesel.

July 10 - Cass WVa, steam excursion between Cass and Elkins will be run. This trip is limited to 175 passengers and will be the first ever to make this twelve hour plus, sixty-seven mile trek behind steam over some of the most rugged and photogenic mountain railroading in the east. The trip will originate in Elkins. There will be a bus ride to Cass and steam train return.
Tickets for this event are sold by the Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad. Call them toll free at 1-877 686-7245. Price per ticket is $190.00, which includes transportation, a hot buffet breakfast and evening meal. Complimentary water and snacks are also included.
